Monitium – Does their model work?

Can someone explain me Monitium's business model?  The way I understand it, distributors enroll in Monitium…Monitium strikes deals with other MLMs and negotiates away the non-competes, etc….distributors build those MLMs and leave when they want, recruiting their downlines with no fear of recourse.  Am I right so far?  If so, is it a good model?  The downside, as I see it, is that the distributors in the Monitium database are constantly solicited by the participating MLMs.  It seems like an organization with no focus. Am I missing something?  It sounds like it's good for owners, who probably take top positions with each business.  But as for the participating distributors, is it a good deal?  What do you think?

Monitium want the MLM companies not to restrict our trade and allow us to work with multiple mlm companies. All MlM companies should allow that. Within the Network we should still follow ethics like not crosslining

Appreciate the thoughts, had similar concerns when I was approached before the pre-launch. It really saddens me to see friends and fellow networkers jumping into opportunities so quickly with a “fear of loss” mindset. It’s all what one does, not getting in at the beginning. Unfortunately many top networkers prey on this and know that people who never do enough will most likely be compelled to jump in, once again helping the top guys to move to another Co., make some good money and then start the process again.

It’s a very confusing concept and personally I couldn’t even tell you how the IT department works the binary and matrix companies into the company!! Yet with todays economy it makes more sense than ever…because you can build a more concentrated team that will never leave because you are not required to be a participant in any of the MLM companies on their list so it’s not costing you a monthly expense until you can finally grow a big enough team to pay for your product like traditional MLM’s…It appears to be more of an investment over time…team grows with the get 4 pay no more concept and at that point you have a big enough team to jump within the mall of mlm’s to have it not cost you a dime to purchase a product, but beyond the get 4 pay no more…no idea how they work the compensations!!

Kevin, thanks for taking the time to look at Monitium. May I ask if you’ve read our “Strategic Alliance Agreement” for MLM partner companies on our corporate website? While you’re visiting, you should also read “How it works” which is viewable in the same flipbooks section found on the left side of the website. Once you’ve reviewed these documents, I’d enjoy an open discussion on this subject as I’ve worked with some of the brightest minds in the MLM industry like Rod Cook (MLM Watch Dog) and Scott Warren, prominent MLM attorney, as well as, a long list of other contributors to create this protected genealogy model (and cutting edge tools platform), that actually allows a professional network marketer to really own their business. For to long the MLM companies have controlled the game and treated network marketers like glorified 1099 employees that can be terminated at will.

Once you’ve read through these documents and watched Jim Bellacera (creator of Black Diamond University), FAQ’s (Frequently Asked Questions) video’s… Let’s continue the discussion, as I appreciate your professional interest.

    • Thanks Ken. I’m not implying in the least bit that the model is illegitimate. I respect Rod Cook and Scott and I’m sure the model is legally fine. I was questioning the relevance and trying to get the deeper issues. I recall you negotiating with my client, Jim Moore. Quick question: do you or your partners personally take positions with each company and have the Monitium database follow under you? If the answer is yes, is it disclosed? Also, are the people in Monitium’s database subject to solicitations from multiple companies? I could dig in your website to find out but I’d prefer to ask here. Thx.

      • Kevin, The beauty of Monitium is that while we teach networkers how to develop and build a team, they won’t have to get caught up in promoting or learning about any one line of products, or network marketing company. You see, with Monitium they only have to focus on two things…

1.) Building their team one last time

2.) Promoting the revolutionary income generation model that Monitium provides through its multiple MLM partner companies.

In short, the networker and their team gets all the benefits and money earning potential that comes from being involved with a network marketing company, but they don’t have any of the negative aspects, or restrictions…. They literally get the best of all worlds, plus they have the opportunity to make a lot more money! Their f

Focus is also maintained because they’re only promoting Monitium, the MLM companies are merely supplying the products and compensation that feeds the distribution channel of your single Monitium team.

In my opinion, where 95% of the home based business owners and their teams get it wrong, is that they trap themselves into representing only one company and one product line (which was Best Practice with the old MLM model), and they live and die financially speaking through the success or failure of that one product or company. Not to mention that the company owns them like an employee and can always terminate them taking away their business with a simple termination letter from the compliance department. Good owners like your client Jim Moore are rare to find and as you know there’s been a lot of carnage in the industry.

Not only does Monitium negotiate incredible benefits with each MLM partner company for our members, but we also ensures that each company follows Monitium’s strategic alliance agreement that was specifically designed to protect our associates business interests within each company…

Monitium also represents a significant win for our MLM partner companies as it helps bring an end to the attrition and crazy company hopping that’s currently destroying our industry. You see, a leader will never recruit away their team again under our model, it simply would be counterproductive to do so.

Reference binary positioning, Monitium’s corporate position is at the top of each binary insertion.

        Thanks… Ken

        • Thanks Ken. Ultimately, the market will decide if it’s a good concept or not. It’s certainly intriguing. Best of luck with your endeavors.

Hi Ken. This is very compelling article. Len Clements brings up some hard hitting points re Monitium – I have been doing my due diligence on Monitium and have some very astute and professional leaders globally who have signed up with me, I found this article and so have many of team that have yet to join bring it to my attention.. Considering Rod Cook is on the advisory board how can we get a solid, thorough and detailed response to all the points raised in his this article from him or yourself?

. It would be most beneficial for our organisation and teams to put these queries to bed once and for all so we can get on building and not having to field questions about these points all the time, or considering all the evidence make an informed and impartial decision as to what we do next as a team. Kind Regards and Blessing Rory Jean-Jacques

Great open discussion and points already made here. I’m a member of Monitium (full disclosure) and this is one of the thoughts that came to my mind when I first heard about Monitium. Very often industry “top dogs” are lured from one company to another and they often negotiate special deals in exchange for bringing a significant level of volume (their team) along with them. They negotiate their own terms and conditions, separate from the company’s standard ones, because of the leverage they bring to the table. This is similar to that… a company (Monitium) that has “leverage” to create terms and conditions that are favorable to BOTH parties.

It’s not necessarily a fit for every network marketer or for every MLM company, but for many it will be a great partnership that’s a win-win. Given that the majority of distributors these days are involved with more than one (non-competitive) MLM company, this can possibly help the MLM company reduce attrition rates.

That’s just one thought to consider! There certainly are many, many points of view on this. Thanks for sharing!

Difficult business model and hard to understand that seems to be the major challenge for Monitium. Maybe I am not intelligent enough to understand it….
